EXALTING THE GREEK MYTHOLOGY Formed on 1995 in Monte Azul Paulista – a city in the interior of São Paulo, by the brothers Julio Vieira (vocals) and Paulo André (bass), the band Mr. Ego that is on tour promoting their album “Mythology” released on 2008, proves that your dreams become true if you do it with quality and perseverance. The new single of the band MR.EGO entitled "The Blade Of Truth" that counts with the singer Leandro Caçoilo (ex-ETERNA) will debut on the radio Paraguassu 87,9 FM which is broadcast for many cities in Salvador, such as, Santo Estevão, Feira de Santana, Antônio Cardoso, Cabaceiras do Paraguassu, Ipecaetá and Rafael Jambeiro. Mythology - Pre-Order on Heavy Metal Rock website The second studio album of Mr. Ego, entitled Mythology, is available for pre-order on the Heavy Metal Rock website. The record will be thematic containing material about the Greek Mythology and its main characters in all tracks. The artwork was developed by the web designer Daniel Dattoli, from MS Metal Press, based on the CD concept. The second studio album of the band Mr. Ego, entitled Mythology, is already available for sales. The label Freemind Records which is responsible for the release has already started to distribute the material for the stores throughout the country. “We finally have Mythology in our hands in order to continue our tour. We apologize for the delay once again and inform that the CD will be available to our fans in our next show, in Olimpia, São Paulo interior”, said the bassist Paulo André.
The Mythology Brazilian Tour 2009 will begin on April, 9th, at Toma Rock, in São José do Rio Preto, São Paulo interior. The group was supposed to launch the second album of their career but due to some production problems, the CD won’t be available for this event.

The charismatic vocalist of Mr. Ego band, Julio Vieira, was the special guest of Nova Era FM radio, in Monte Azul Paulista, last Tuesday 17th. He was interviewed by kids who are students of Profª Alzira de Freitas Casseb School, and the chat was organized by the teacher Janio Gurion. “We have talked about many things regarding to music. I am very happy for being interviewed by those children and pass along them my experience as a musician. The result was so positive that I was invited to return with my band after releasing our new album Mythology, in order to discuss about the future plans of Mr. Ego”, said Julio.
Ready for releasing their second studio album entitled Mythology, the band Mr. Ego made an upgrade in all their internet vehicles so, this website, blog and MySpace were re-designed based on the Greek Mythology theme in order to be related to the album. “We can’t wait to see our album on the stores all over the country. We are preparing our first national tour with all affection and it was necessary to improve our channels on the web. So, I worked very hard and hope that everything meets our fans expectations. They deserve that”, said the singer Júlio Vieira.
